About Me

  • This blog in the product of my real-life experiences incorporated with some fiction. It it purely meant for entertainment purposes (and an outlet for my anger management/creative purposes) Hi, my name is Lucky. Throughout my life I have experienced many hard-ships. I've dealt with divorce, abuse, domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse and have had quite a few run-in's with the Police. I'd like to think I can be a voice of reason because I know there are so many young men and women out there who feel like they have to deal with all of these problems alone. Actually, some prefer to deal with them alone like I did. Only through time did I open up and turned the pain I inflicted onto myself into something productive. This blog is my therapy and I hope you enjoy it as much I enjoy writing it. XO Lucky

  • Popping my Xanga cherry

So today it's a beautiful rainy day in Chicago. I guess most people won't think rain is a beautiful thing but sometimes you just need a reason to be lazy and stay in. Like most people on a rainy day I lounge around in my pajamas and I started thinking about past, future, present things like money, my boyfriend and smoking the occasional bowl. I woke up around 10:30 and let my boyfriend sleep in. Last night we watched 'The Puppet Master' and some other cheesy horror movie. I have got to say, I thoroughly enjoyed their bad acting it made it that more fun for "date night" but I used that term loosely because I had all intentions of going out and getting shit-faced last night... but as usual (if you can believe) my red-blooded man wanted to stay in, cuddle and eat popcorn. What is it with men these days. I feel like a raging caged animal that needs to get my party on. Back to my story.

Sleeping in is one of the best things you could ever do. Think about it. When I skipped or stay home sick from school one of my favorite things was going back to bed then getting up and watching Wheel of Fortune eating some Apple Jacks. When I was a kid I swear I used to love sleeping like it was my most favorite thing to do. Take naps. Go to bed. Go back to bed. Now that I think about it I really do think I had sleeping problems as a child. Now I can sleep 5-6 hours and be totally cool. I used to always sleep in class starting back in fourth grade. And you really don't sleep in class that young because an 11 year old should be like energetic. Oh and don't even get me started on sleepovers. Let me tell you, I was a half-demon child.

My parents owned a nice middle-sized home in an unincorporated area which meant there was nothing really to do. I can'tdrive to a store or mall because I was like... 10. So whenever my friend slept over at my house it was a big deal. We would do it royal and when I say that I mean staying up late, hardcore barbie playing and breakfast in the morning. We used to play Lesbian barbies for some reason... don't ask. Anyways fun was hard to come by except just picking on my older sister spying on her whatever she was doing. She wasn't that interesting do we decided to bake a cake. By our selves. Bad idea. I'm guessing I was just retarded because soon we ended up throwing the cake mix at each other and we had full out food fight. Cake mix flew everywhere! Between the microwave, under the stove, in the sink and eventually my downfall in getting caught. We ended up tiring out and decided to half-heartedly clean it up. My grandma being and old cute Polish lady decided to help clean it up and make the kitchen spot free. Cleaner than before. Well I'm guessing due to my grandmas lack of size (she was 5''-5'1 at the time? she's now 4'11 due to osteoporosis. Nothing to joke about but she's so cute and little!) I was caught. Can you guess how my parents found out? Well the next morning my mom rose nice and early, walks past my room, all is well. Strolls down to the kitchen for her first cup of coffee. She sits down with a piping hot cup of coffee, turns on the the light and fan and flour flies everywhere. In her hair, on the floor, in her coffee.

Moral of the story: If you want something done right do it yourself.

    Peace and Love,
    Lucky
